VOCATIONAL COURSES – (VET: Vocational Education and Training)

These are rather more practical courses designed to equip the student with tools to allow them to be job-ready faster. VET courses are usually segmented into Certificate III, IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma, and their duration can vary between 1 to 3 years, depending on the program. They also enable articulations with bachelor courses. VET courses are popular for their practical approach, their flexible timetables (2.5 days a week) and cheaper fees. Most of our overseas students choose to apply first to an English course and once they have improved their English in Australia, opt to extend their visas with a vocational course.
